How do I convert a file to Adobe PDF format?
PDF is a print-ready format that exactly preserves the look of a form. If you want users to be able to fill in your forms using their computer, then you'll need to buy Adobe Acrobat Pro (the free Acrobat Reader does not allow editing, and Acrobat Standard does not support fillable form creation).

If you'd like to learn how to do the conversions right on your own computer, manual instructions are listed below.
On a Mac:
- Open the document.
- Choose Print from the file menu.
- INSTEAD of printing, choose Save As PDF in the lower-left corner of the print dialog.
On Windows:
If you have Office 2007, you can now save to PDF directly from Word. If not, it is not as simple to create a PDF file on Windows unless you are willing to pay some money. However, we can help you get around that!
