How can I make a page on my website private?

In some cases, you might want to have a page on your website that does not appear in the list of menu links on your site. This creates a sort of 'hidden page' that can only be accessed from links that you create. You may add a link on your site that opens the page, or only give the link out personally to site users that you want to access it.

You can also use this method to reduce the size of your 'navigation menu' which appears on every page with links to the pages. For example, you can create a hidden page and provide that link to a sub-topic without having the additional page in the navigation menu.

To do this, use these steps:

1. Create the new page in your site editor, and enable it.
2. Open the page in your site preview, and copy the last part of the url

This will look something like "example.en.html"
This is the url to use if you need to link to the page on your website.

To link to the page from an external website (like an email newsletter) make sure to use the full address, something like, "www.example.com/example.en.html"

Go back to the site editor and open the page again. On the page info tab, delete the "Menu Name".

The page is now hidden, and will not appear in your site's menu!
