  1. When does my Email account become active?

Your email account is set up shortly after your website domain name becomes active. In other words, if you can view your site by going to http://www.yourdomain.com, then your email setup should be complete.

If you have not yet chosen a domain name, then you do not yet have an email address with TherapySites. Please contact Customer Care to finish configuring your website.

  2. How do I check my Email?

By default, all of the messages sent to your web site email address are forwarded to the personal email address we have on file. We have the ability to give you a direct access account, which you can use to check your messages directly.

Contact Customer Care if you'd like to be able to access your email directly instead of having it forwarded.

  3. How do I reply to a message that was forwarded to me so that my clients will not see my personal address?

Many email clients understand that multiple accounts can be forwarded to a single one. At the very least, you can usually set the "Reply-To" setting for your email program so that it tells the recipient to reply to the address specified. For example, if your personal address were [email protected], and your website email address were [email protected], then you would set the mail program (which handles messages for your personal address) to have a Reply-To of [email protected].

Some webmail services and email clients do not support this option. If you are using one of these, you may want to switch to a direct access method. Contact Customer Care for assistance, and indicate that you'd like direct email access.

  4. Can I have more than one email address?

Yes. Your web site supports up to 10 email addresses. Contact customer support to add an email account to your web site. You will need to supply the following information:

    • The email address you would like to add. For example, [email protected] where mydomain.com is the domain name for your web site.
    • The person's first and last name.
    • The type of access they would like to have. By default, we will forward messages to another email address. You have the option of using a direct access email account instead of forwarding.
    • If you want to use forwarding, we also need a personal, pre-existing email address to which messages will be forwarded.
